Striping of Hwy 65 to begin on March 16
Capital Paving and Construction, LLC working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 in Carroll and Livingston counties in April 2025. To complete the project, the contractor will be striping Route 65 from U.S. Route 36 in Chillicothe to north of County Road 368, north of Waverly, beginning Monday, March 16.

Register beginning March 16 for Callery Pear buyback

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is partnering with the Missouri Invasive Plant Council (MoIP), the Missouri Community Forestry Council, Magnificent Missouri, Forrest Keeling Nursery, Forest ReLeaf of Missouri, and the Missouri Prairie Foundation to host the 2026 Callery Pear Buyback Program in locations around the state.
Auditor releases monthly reports on municipalities, special district financial information
On March 6, Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick issued monthly reports detailing the compliance of municipalities and other political subdivisions with financial reporting laws.


Waverly PD holds First Impact
