Lady Chiefs topple Saints in softball
It was indeed a Red and Black attack on April 6th at St. Paul Lutheran in Concordia, for the team’s first road contest of the year. The game started innocently enough, tied at bagels after one, and only one-zero after two, yet SFHS laid down a Lincoln in the third, and erupted for eight more scores in the 4th, and a run in the 5th, to put the Lady Saints away in five innings, winning 15-0.

Supporting agriculture
We have passed the midway point of session, and the work has really taken off. These are some of the busiest weeks of session as we try to work on as many bills as we can before the budget becomes the primary focus in the Senate. I am happy to report that many bills from both the House and Senate are progressing at a decent clip, and soon, we will start working on the budget bills.
