Middle school basketball girls play well at the end
The Lexington Middle School Girls basketball team had a good month of January, as they went 6-5 during the month, and they placed third in the MRVC East Middle School Conference Tournament that capped off the season.
SEC men’s basketball tourney kicks off today
March Madness is finally here, and the Southeastern Conference Men’s Post Season Basketball Tournament will kick off with four games today (Wednesday) at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

This is why Missouri Farm Bureau is advocating for the adoption of the Landowners Fairness Act. The bill sets statewide standards – across all condemning authorities – for how landowners should be treated before, during and after the condemnation process.


Shoe collection under way
Lexington Rotary Club is sponsoring its 25th annual collection of Shoes for Orphan Souls. Shoes collected this year have been earmarked to be sent to Africa and Central America for young children there.
