Lexington girls wrestlers compete well at state
The three Lexington Minutewomen Wrestlers, who qualified for the State Wrestling Tournament, all made a good showing at the State meet last Wednesday and Thursday at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia.

One great comeback and almost a miracle finish
The famous saying of, “It ain’t over til it’s over,” was never more evident than it was last Wednesday evening, as the Lexington Minutewomen Girls Basketball Team, trailing by 9 points with a little over two minutes left, put together a comeback for the ages, as they roared from behind, and came within a hair of a miracle finish, before falling in the end 46 to 45 to the Higginsville Lady Huskers in a District semi-final game at Lone Jack High School.
Minutewomen undefeated conference champs
The Lexington Minutewomen Girls Wrestling Team had a banner season this year, as for the first time, they won the MRVC East Conference Championship, and were undefeated in Conference action. The Lexington Boys also had a good year in the MRVC, as they finished in third place in the 6 team Conference race.

Minutemen give great effort in double OT District loss
It ended up being Heartbreak City, but the Lexington Minutemen Boys Basketball Team had absolutely nothing to hang their heads about, as they gave it everything that they had, and left it all on the floor, in falling in a double overtime thriller 54 to 52 to the number one seeded Higginsville Huskers in a District semifinal game last Thursday evening at Lone Jack High School.

Minutemen beat Holden for fourth time
The Lexington Minutemen Boys Basketball Team beat the Holden Eagles for the fourth time this season, this time by the score of 66 to 59, in a first round District Tournament game, a week ago Tuesday at Lone Jack High School.
